And off we go! On Saturday, December 11, the fanclub is officially launched. A couple of months ago we started thinking about how great it would be for ReVamp to have its own fanclub. We contacted the band, and on November 20 we had a meeting and things went really fast from then on. We developed quite some ideas, started working on the site, and only 3 weeks later we are ready to welcome our first members.
At the show at Poppodium Atak in Enschede, the Netherlands, Floor Jansen announced the fanclub during the show. Of course we already knew some people who wanted to become a member, so unfortunately you are not the first one. Did we mention that the first 30 members receive a nice welcome gift?

Contest April 2012
Want to win some nice ReVamp prizes? Sweet Curse has come up with a contest and we would like you to participate! Here’s what you need to do:
Send an e-mail with a short and fun ReVamp related story/anecdote to contest@sweetcurse.org. You can tell us about a nice or fun meeting you’ve had with the band, about a gig you really liked, a funny story or why you really like ReVamp in general. It’s up to you!
Subscription closes Friday, April 20
On Saturday, April 21 we will pick 3 winners!
Please note that this contest is for fanclub members only
There is plenty of time, so no need to rush. It would be nice if you put some effort into it so we can publish a couple of nice fan stories! :)
Merry Christmas and a happy 2012
ReVamp asked us to share their holiday greetings!
Statement regarding Floor's condition
As you probably know, Floor is suffering from a burnout. The very nature of this condition makes it very hard to predict when she will have fully recovered.
Besides having much impact on her personal capability to perform, of course it affects ReVamp and therefore Sweet Curse. We had quite some plans which we had to cancel at some point in time.
The fanclub staff have some ground principles which we now hold on to. We do not wish to apply much pressure from the fanclub, adding stress is the last thing Floor and her men can use right now.
Since the rate of activities is lower than expected, we have decided to extend the membership of all members by 6 months for free.
We strive to continue to provide you with updates like interviews, yet we need to ask for your understanding. If we tried to organise something involving the band, we would add pressure to Floor's condition, which we do not want. Not before she has recovered will we even think of starting to plan meetings and contests.
Having said all of this, we wish Floor all the best and hope for a full recovery, taking however much time she needs.
